Business of IT ontology, aka ONION

So, did a Google on "ITSM Ontology" and came up with:

Business Of Information Technology Ontology

aka ONION.

Rather under the radar. Guess I'm going to have to get up to date on Semantic Web.

The semantic web and ITSM will collide at some point in the new future, it's unavoidable.

Quite likely, it will be "behind the scenes" when interoperability of Knowledge Bases becomes a business challenge (see ITIL v3 SKMS) - the semantic community is the only one with the technology, peolpe and processes that have been proven to work.
